Policies & Practices

I) Puppy Health Guarantee:

Unless otherwise stated in writing, All "My Little Kennel " Puppies are sold with the following specific health Guarantee. You may exchange or recieve a replacement puppy of simular sex, size, of your choice (as they come available) under these conditions.

1) Pups are guaranteed not to die of "puppyhood desease", such as but not limited to: Parvo, distemper, ...etc, PROVIDED that the new owner follows the vacination schedule we recomend for that puppy. If (God forbid) the puppy should contract one of these "puppy hood" deseases and die, inspite of vacinations, we will replace the puppy as soon as a sutible one becomes available. AT NO TIME WILL WE PAY FOR VET BILLS FOR THE PUP AFTER IT IS PURCHASED BY THE BUYER. It is the new owners responcibility to have their pup vacinated according to the schedule they recieve for their pup. Failure to Vacinate puppy on schedule negates this garentee. DO IT!

2) Pups are guaranteed not to develop disabilitating genetic defects, such as; hip-displacia, heart murmors,imune system dificienies, and etc. for two (2) years...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ALERGIES, including those that may or may not be inherited. (In this modern day of chemical use, environmental factors of a pups new home can lead to alergy development, because this is beyond our control, we feel it is reasonable for us to refuse to guarantee a pup will not develop an alergy to something in it's new environment.) Should a pup develop a disabilitating gentitic defect, with-in the specified time we will re-place the dog with another pup. AT NO TIME WILL WE PAY VET BILLS FOR THE PUP, AFTER IT IS PURCHASED BY THE BUYER.

3) We do practise parasite control yet: Pups are not guaranteed to be completely free of common canine parasites, such as: wormes, fleas, ticks, mites, protosoan and/or minor bacterial or fungal infections.

4) We never knowingly sell a dog with any problem with-out revealing that problem to the new owner.
Pups sold with revealed problems are discounted accordingly.

5) Without exception, we go over the points of our puppy guarantee with each puppy buyer at the time of the sale, buyer is required to sign the gaurentee in acknowledgment of having understood the points of the gaurentee.

6) We are always available for consultation about health problems, training problems,and pedigree consultation. @ 530-692-2547

2) Puppy Grace period:

Unless otherwise stated in writting:...Since the realities of pup ownership can be more than a person expected, we give each new puppy owner two weeks to change their mind about their new pup. During that time, they can bring it back for any reason what-ever, with no questions asked, as long as it is still in good health, and recieve their purchase price back. minus $50 handling charge.

3) Lifetime Dog home placement program

Unless otherwise stated in writting...For the life of the dog, if at any time any owner of a dog bred at My Little Kennel is forced by circumstances to find another home for the dog, we will take the dog and make every attempt to place it in a new home suited to it's temperment, or, give it a permanent home with us. No shelters for our dogs please.

PUPPY STUFF:

4) All our dogs are registered UKCI &/or UKC

Unless otherwise stated in writting all our pups and dogs are sold with a registration application(s) to the registry it's parrents are registered with. In addition AS A CURTESY we give new owners as much pedigree information on the dog or puppy as is available to us, up to 4 generations.
