| 1)Pups that are strong and vigorous have tails docked and back dew claws sergically removed at 2 to 3 days, under the effect of local pain killer/antibiotic to reduce stress. Weak puppies do not have their tails docked till they are strong. 2) Mothers are fed highest quality feed with suplemental calcium while nursing pups. 3) Puppies are socialized from birth. Handled daily. 4) Puppies quarters are kept clean and pups started on a health program from birth. 5))Puppies are wormed every 2 weeks, using alternate wormers to prevent parasite resistance. 6) puppies are vacinated at 4 wks for parvo with neo-par vacine. 7) Puppies are introduced to solid food at 3 weeks, and weaned at 6 to 8 weeks. 8)Puppies recieve their first regular puppyhood vacines between 6 and 8 weeks. 9) No puppy is sold before it is strong enough and hardy enough to undergo the stress of leaving home. 10) Puppies and dogs needing veterinary care recieve promt treatment. 11) Puppies are given plenty of room to run and play, lots of fresh air and sunshine. 12) Adult dogs are vacinated yearly and wormed regularly (at least onece a month), we practise heartworm provention. 13) Adult dogs have fresh water at all times, and are fed quality rations, they have lots of exercise room, and plenty of shelter from heat wet and cold. We work our dogs regularly, they thrive on having a purpose in life. 14) Adult dogs are well socialized, given daily attention and lots of love. 15) We keep up to date medical records on all our dogs. 16) We work with our local vet, periodically reviewing health records, and modifing our health program ( ...vacine schedule, ect.) if it is deemed useful. . |
